About the section "Products"
In this part of the app, you can store and view information about past activities related to your products, such as views, adding to cart, purchases, and more. It functions in a similar way to regular events, but there is a one big difference:
We don't store information about attributes’ values in each event. Attributes, apart from event_type, are updated with the latest value sent which is then stored only in the product’s profile. Such an approach makes it far more efficient when you send tens of millions of events every month.
However, this means you won’t be able to see past values of those attributes!
In order to be able to differentiate, for example, the same shoes in different sizes, you need to create a different product for each size.
How to filter users through product events
Go to "Data" -> "People" then click the filter icon on the right of the page.
Scroll down to the menu "Products".
Choose the event type and specify the attributes you want to filter by.
